Based at The Arches on Lawden Road, just off the A45 near Birmingham City's ground, West Midlands Metals serves plumbers, electricians, builders, roofers and members of the public across Birmingham and beyond. They pay by same-day bank transfer, issue waste transfer notes and operate fully in line with the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013, with the licences and registrations to match.

The brief

Scrap customers want two things before they load the van: today's price and confidence they'll be treated fairly. The website needed to answer both quickly, on a phone, and make bigger loads easy to arrange.

Daily scrap price list that the team can update themselves, so customers always see current rates.
Pre-registration form so new customers can provide their details before arrival and get through the yard faster.
