BWAR — Domain Name Terms

BWAR Limited registers and manages .uk domain names on behalf of our customers as part of the services we provide. BWAR is a Nominet-tagged .uk registrar, and is recorded as the registrant for domains we register and maintain for customers.

Nominet’s terms

All .uk domains are subject to Nominet’s Terms and Conditions of Domain Name Registration: https://www.nominet.uk/uk-domains/policies/policies-rules/. We make you aware of these before we register or renew on your behalf, and you accept them as part of our customer agreement.

Charges

Our current domain registration and renewal charges are £25 plus VAT, or are included within your monthly hosting plan. Prices are shown excluding VAT.

Renewals and expiry

We send at least one renewal reminder no fewer than 30 days before expiry. You can renew by responding to the reminder, or by contacting us at hello@bwar.co.uk or 01782 906093. Domains renew for one year unless you request otherwise. A domain not renewed by its expiry date will be allowed to lapse in line with Nominet’s process.

Leaving us

You may transfer your domain to another registrar at any time, free of charge, once your account is settled. As BWAR is recorded as the registrant, if you wish to become the registered owner of the domain (or transfer ownership to a new provider), a registrant update is required, charged at £25 per domain (covering the registry fee and our processing). We do not unreasonably withhold or delay any transfer.
